“Monsters of Anxiety” have consistently sold to collectors since they became available in 2013. Each unique piece is made of hand stitched cashmere, with sculpted plasticine eyes and teeth that glow in the dark. Monsters have different features and accessories, some can hold a spoon and food, but all Monsters are made for the experience of touching, to be playful, soft and comforting.
Recontextualized images are a secret language spoken with mind’s eye. These collages are a few recent examples among the hundreds sold from coast to coast and over seas since 1993. They average in size between printer paper and a postcard.
